The imagery you see above is the artwork for the “Big Time” single.
Whenever I do this song live I end up talking about how it’s the theme for Something Awesome, cause it wasn’t till this one came along that I really felt I had a direction for the project. Sentimentally it’s one of my favourite things I’ve written, I guess cause it reminds me of a pivotal time which would eventually lead to some of the most enjoyable years of my life (University). I also feel like it’s such a universal thing :
- Kid goes to school, wants to do something big when he grows up
- Kid nears end of school, still wants to do something big but has no idea what he wants to be
- Kid looks at University courses he might be good at
- Kid goes to University, and crosses fingers that he chose the right degree to crack it
(That’s what i did anyway, ha)
Anyways, the song’s already garnering some spins at radio (much thanks to Mai and Flava for the early support!) and it will be available on ALL digital retailers next week. Stay tuned here early next week for the video, which is being worked on as we speak. Should be grand.

Just downloaded off digirama… been looking for this track ever since I heard it on a ABC skate vid on youtube… beat flows real nice
