It’s official – like a referee with a whistle.
Even though I’ve stated the date before, nothing cements it in my mind like seeing it on the poster image. Fucken choice.
If you do your thing on the internet and are keen to be helpful/awesome feel free to post that image or rock this banner around the place. I often encounter gracious people who are keen to help out just cause they’re feelin the music, and in truth I don’t really have much for anyone to do. When it comes to this music shit it’s a fairly solitary affair, I just write some stuff in my room and hopefully people like it.
The only thing I’ll ever ask is if you like what I do, tell someone about it. Whether it be you showing a song to someone who might like it, a request on a radio station, a comment on a forum – your word is everything.
Which leads me to my next point – if you’ve been keeping your ear to the e-streets you might’ve heard a new song from Something Awesome poppin up in some major spots. American sites featuring new material – how did we get here ?
… well it all started with this guy on myspace who decided to send the “Indulge Me” vid to a U.S hip hop site….
Like I said, your word is everything.

After hearing Front to Back on the radio the other week I’ve been hanging out to bump it again. It’s a super good tune, the album is definitely going to be ‘Something Awesome’. A few lads from the U.K. that I know are digging your stuff, one even suggested you go over there and play a few gigs, hop on Tim Westwood’s show. Don’t know how much you’re known over there though?
Whose idea was it for the album art, bro? It’s mad cool. Also, what’s the word on a track list?
