The Something Awesome drawing contest

Draw something awesome for the chance to win something awesome!

This is a themed drawing contest, the theme being “something awesome”. To enter the competition simply submit a drawing of something which YOU think is awesome. This is entirely up to your perception and your idea of “awesome”, there is no right or wrong. The possibilities are endless, examples could include a time travelling car, Soulja Boy, a brick, a cat wearing roller-skates, your mum – just to name a few.

To enter the contest all you need to do is create your drawing on a piece of A4 paper, scan it, and then email it along with your name and city to contest@daviddallas.co.nz before midnight Sunday 20 December. Scroll down to see the official rules and terms and conditions.

1st place winner:

the rules.

  1. The contest begins on Tuesday 1 December 2009 and closes at midnight on Sunday 20 December (NZ time). Winners will be announced in the following week on the David Dallas website.
  2. Attach your drawing in an email to contest@daviddallas.co.nz with the subject line “Something Awesome drawing contest”. Please also include your name, and your city in body of the email. You may enter multiple times, but you must only submit one entry per email.We prefer entry by email but if you cannot manage that you may enter by post. Please post your drawings along with your name, city and a contact phone number to:

  3. Entries should conform to the following specifications:
    A4 (2480 x 3508 pixels) in landscape or portrait orientation
    Entries can be submitted in .jpg, or .gif format.

    If that is gobbledegook to you, don’t stress! Just scan your entry and send it anyway. And keep your original drawing just in case we need it.

  4. Be original. Please enter with your own original work, let your imagination run wild. Keep it clean though. Offensive drawings will not be accepted and will result in detention.

terms and conditions.

  1. Entrants from New Zealand only are eligible to win the prizes in this competition. However if you are from outside of New Zealand and would like to participate in the fun, you are more than welcome to submit your drawings!
  2. By entering this competition you give consent for your email address to be added to David Dallas’s mailing list. We will send emails out to this mailing list from time to time. Don’t worry we will not pass on your information to any other companies and we wont spam you hard out. However if you would not like to receive emails from us please say so in the body of your email entry.
  3. Winners will be contacted by email or phone. If we are unable to make contact with a winner for three days another winner will be selected.
  4. By entering you consent to your drawing being printed on a t-shirt. This may or may not be made available for sale.
  5. By entering this competition you consent to your drawing, name and city being displayed on the David Dallas blog. You could be famous bro!
